Nike has been releasing the Nike Air Trainer 1 model exclusively to athletes for many years now, and it still hasn’t stopped. With another World Series title under their belt, as well as, a special Nike Air Trainer 1, the New York Yankees wouldn’t have done it without some key players. Besides A-Rod and Jeter, Nike gave props and a player exclusive Nike Air Trainer 1 to the Taiwanese-born pitcher Chien-Ming Wang. Wang’s PE takes influence from the Yankees design, with the team colors and pinstripe ankle, where his name is stitched in his native character. A multi-colored lace panel also makes this a colorful shoe. Perhaps these will make a general release, but for now, let’s just enjoy the view.
