With the old Battersea Power Station along the wharf bathed in violet lights as the backdrop, Nike Football kicked off its 2010 Football Innovation Summit in London last night with assistance from Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo. A multi-facet global event which saw media from all corners of the world, the 2010 Football Innovation Summit will officially debut some of the newest offerings from Nike going into this Summer’s FIFA World Cup in South Africa, including aforementioned Mercurial Vapor SuperFly II. The event also saw Nike CEO Mark Parker (in front of an amazing wall of F.C. insignias) making a short presentation, once again reinforcing Nike’s commitment in the represented athletes and the sport itself.
