We now have yet another look at the highly anticipated “Varsity Red” Foamposite One.

Unveiled at the Sole Collector x Penny Hardaway Event at Nike Las Vegas back in October, the shoe features the classic Foamposite look, this time in an unreleased colorway. Finished off with a metallic sheen and icy outsole, you have the perfect kicks for that Valentine’s Day date come February.

The “Varsity Red” Nike Air Foamposite One is set to drop on February 4 for $220.

For quite some time now the sneakerhead community has been buzzing on just one family of Nike, Foamposites. After the crazy display at Penny’s event in Las Vegas we got to see some previews of new Foamposites coming out next year in 2012. Today we have a first look at yet another Foamposite in the Pro mold. Here we see the Nike Air Foamposite Pro in Navy Blue and White giving the shoe almost a “New York Yankees” feel. We now have even more images of next year’s “Metallic Red” Foamposite One.

First unveiled at the Sole Collector x Penny Hardaway event at Nike Las Vegas, these Foams sport a red upper with a metallic sheen, giving them a shinier look than your typical Foamposite.  The kicks are finished off with black accents, a carbon fiber shank plate, and a translucent outsole.

These are set to drop around Valentine’s Day in 2012 for $220.  Of all the Foamposites set to debut next year, are these your favorites so far?

Coming off of a very successful release of the “Penny Signature Pack” and debut event over the weekend in Las Vegas, we have first detailed images of Penny Hardaway’s “A.D.H.” Nike Destroyer Jacket. Penny was definitely the man of the night as he sat cool wearing his custom 1-of-1 jacket and “Memphis Blue” inspired Nike Zoom Rookie LWP PE’s.

Jacket designer, Marc Dolce, also NSW Footwear & Apparel Design Lead describes, “I wanted to pay homage to Penny’s hometown and how he got into the league, so I designed a bespoke Nike Destroyer jacket just for him for the launch event.” He also adds, “I wanted to use the original 1 logo from the Flight One as the key piece, and then you’ll notice his initials with the Tennessee state outline right below that.”

The combination black wool and full grain leather jacket includes royal blue accents and significant detailing including a basketball patch celebrating Penny’s ’94 Rookie Game MVP Award, patches highlighting his bicep tattoos labaled, “The Storm Is Over” and “Part II Heaven Cent,” and even one of Penny’s favorite phrases, “Ballin’ Is What I Was Born To Do.”

The week has been jam-packed with news about the Nike Air Foamposite One and the upcoming “Metallic Red” colorway, but after numerous rumors and photoshops, we can finally confirm a release in the near future. In fact, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Red” will release Valentine’s Day 2012!

Confirmed by Gentry Humphrey at the Nike x Sole Collector “Penny Signature Pack” event in Las Vegas, the news should definitely serve as a pleasant surprise to most guys who will probably have their hands full with female companions come V-Day 2012! Expect to see the Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Red” in stores on V-Day or the weekend that follows.

Are Nike Air Foamposites the most sought after signature basketball sneakers to date? This is very likely as we’ve seen an increased amount of the Penny-inspired kicks release and sell out everywhere this past year. Well, Nike isn’t done quite yet and 2012 looks to be very promising as we bring to you a preview of a few colorways that were debuted last night at the Sole Collector x Penny Hardaway Event at Nike Las Vegas.

Gentry Humphrey, the event’s host, showed new colorways in the Nike Air Foamposite One and Nike Air Foamposite Pro including the “Metallic Red,” “Galaxy” (What The Foam is not the correct name), and other never been seen colorways. It is said that the bronze-like colorway has a chameleon-like effect which causes the shoe to appear in different colors depending on its angle in the light. Insane!

The time has come and Nike Las Vegas is definitely calling! Tomorrow, October 29, 2011 will mark the grand release event for the Nike x Sole Collector “Penny Signature Pack” and you don’t want to miss it because the man himself, Penny Hardaway, will be in the building!

The “Penny Signature Pack” is set to include an exclusive five-shoe collaboration pack that commemorates Penny’s signature footwear collection. That means, we’ll be seeing the Nike Air Penny I-III, Nike Air Foamposite One, and Nike Zoom Rookie LWP in a special Sole Collector inspired colorway.

The Blake Griffin Hyperdunk is actually part of a Player Exclusive Pack that recently dropped at NikeTown Las Vegas.  Consisting of an Amare Stoudemire Air Max Sweep Thru, Russell Westbrook Hyperfuse, Chris Bosh Air Max Hyperdunk, Blake Griffin Hyperdunk, and Rajon Rondo Hyperfuse, the pack incorporates everything from reflective 3M to icy blue soles.

With the NBA season in jeopardy, we may never get to see these kicks grace the feet of some of our favorite stars, but the Nike Basketball Player Exclusive Pack can be picked up now exclusively  at NikeTown Las Vegas.

Puma might have outdone themselves with the Fall 2011 Puma Suede ‘Gum’ Pack. The Puma Suede Classic will release in three colorways, Blue/Maize, Scarlet Red/Grey, and Black/Dark Grey and will all feature a thick gum sole.
