More Nike PEs at House of Hoops

Last month we saw House of Hoops locations receive a couple of Nike Player Exclusives that David West, Kevin Durant, and Rashard Lewis have been seen balling in this NBA season. Now Nike is delivering a new batch of Player Exclusives, which includes Tony Parker’s Nike Zoom Flip’n and Rudy Gay’s Nike Huarache Supreme 2010. A pair of black/red-green Air Jordan Alpha Is is also dropping- for those of you who peeped Jordan Brand members like Ray Allen balling in them and liked what they saw. Check-in with your closest House of Hoops locations to see if/when they received this new set of PEs.

Nike Zoom Kobe V “Bruce Lee” Release Date Change

At the beginning of the week we informed you that the Nike Zoom Kobe V “Bruce Lee” would be releasing later this week. Many of our readers were particularly happy to hear of the news. However, the release date for this sneaker has now been pushed back six days, and it will now be releasing from select Nike retailers including House of Hoops and Foot Locker locations nationwide on Friday of next week, January 22. Of course, this means you’ll have to be extra frugal over the next week if you plan on purchasing these and the popular black/red Air Jordan VI coming out the following day.

Nike Air Flightposite II LE Black/Black Release Information

Over four months ago we relayed the news that Nike would be retroing the Air Flightposite II LE- remembered more fondly by most OG sneakerheads as the Nike Air Flightposite KG that Kevin Garnett made so famous. These will, in fact, be releasing later this month- Saturday January 16th, to be exact. It will be available for purchase from select Nike retailers including Foot Locker and House of Hoops locations nationwide. Does this January 2010 release rank up there right behind the black/red Air Jordan VI dropping the 23rd?

Nike SB Blazer Varsity Red/Black-White

After showing you the arrival of some January Nike SB releases and the UCLA-inspired Nike SB Blazer, Nike still isn’t slowing down. Every once in a while Nike has to resort to classic colorways on popular silhouettes to keep us appeased. To that extent, we would like to show you a Nike SB Blazer that has arrived at some overseas Nike retailers. Pictured here, this shoe comes with a predominantly varsity red suede upper, surrounded by a black suede toe box, shoe laces area, and heel. White accents come via the Nike swoosh and customary white sole. We know it’s another black/red/white colorway, but who can still resist? Stay tuned for any word of a stateside release if you’re not the online ordering type.

East & West NBA All-Star adidas Concord Mid

Last month we showed you a pair of the Reebok Answer XIII in a Western Conference colorway that had been readied for the NBA All-Star game while Allen Iverson was still playing for the Memphis Grizzlies. So, it is apparently not too early to start thinking about what other NBA All-Star sneaker silhouettes/colorways might look like. To that extent, we bring you a look at both the Eastern and Western conference pairs of the adidas Concord mid designed for the 2010 NBA All-Star game. While the Eastern Conference pair comes in a white/blue color-up, the Western Conference one sports a black/red colorway. Both pairs are accompanied with matching three-tone laces and gold accents including “2010″ reading vertically down on the back. You’ll be able to find certain adidas sneaker retailers with this NBA All-Star adidas Concord mid duo available for pre-sale now, more than a month before the annual showcase of the NBA’s best talent.

Of the many expected collections of the new year, the latest one we have to preview is the work of LA Based sneaker company, Supra. Featuring classics like the TK Society in rose gold, Skytop in purple, and Vaider in black/red/yellow/green, the collection also boasts some new silhouettes. Reebok Year of the Tiger Pack – Pump Omni Lite & Insta Pump Fury

To celebrate the coming of the Year of the Tiger in 2010, Reebok pay their respects to the zodiac with their own Year of the Tiger Pump Pack. The pack includes the Reebok Pump Omni Lite and Reebok Insta Pump Fury. Both Pumps sport a crazy tiger stripe upper; black/red/gold for the Insta Pumps and black/gold for the Pump Omni. Each shoe uses a black base on a black sole, as the Pump Omni keeps it one tonal with black on black stripes and the occasional gold accent. The Insta Pump Fury is totally decked out in bright red stripes on the upper, making these stand out for the new year. Each of these Pumps go for $207 online, and are well worth the price for this celebratory pack.

Almost resembling Cheez’s Five Two-3 Adidas Samba, the latest colorway to release for the Adidas Samba has made its way to retailers worldwide. Nicknamed the Chicago Bulls edition, this black/red pair of Adidas Sambas sports a black suede upper with red leather stripes, adding gold print to the “Samba” logo to keep this classic shoes fresh. These slim shoes that were released as soccer shoes are a hit in the casual section, especially in this clean bred colorway. You can get a pair of these Sambas for $115 online overseas, but it’d be a good idea to check out your local Adidas retailer for a better buy.

Air Jordan Expedition – Black / Red

The latest Jordan Brand ‘hybrid’ model takes the shape of an rugged Air Jordan IV inspired cross trainer called the Air Jordan Expedition. JB has been received a lot of mixed feedback for their most recent basketball hybrid efforts — perhaps the reason for this exploration into a new branch of Nike ACG-esque footwear. Fitted with a fail-safe Black/Red colorway, the model features an AJIV-inspired mid panel, visible air bag, and speckled laces.
