adidas TS Bounce Commander III Peja Stojakovich PE

adidas has been treating its team of NBA representatives very well this NBA season. So far, we’ve seen a particularly nice pair of the TS Commander LT for Tim Duncan, a Christmas special TS Supernatural Commander for Dwight Howard, and a TS Supernatural Commander for “the Big Ticket,” Kevin Garnett. Now, images have surfaced providing a close look at the adidas TS Bounce Commander III in a white/blue/purple/gold (home) colorway designed for sharpshooter Peja Stojakovich of the New Orleans Hornets. The patented adidas touch of sometimes placing the NBA star’s initials on some of the Player Exclusives applies this time as well- as you can see the shoe finished off with number 16’s “PS” initials on the shoe’s tongue. So how do you think this adidas PE stands up to some of the other ones we’ve gotten a close look at before?

In September we brought you a look at a pair of the adidas TS Commander LT that pays homage to “The Man Child,” Dwight Howard. We recently came across pictures taken of a TS Commander LT PE belonging to another famous big man under contract with adidas- Tim Duncan. This particular Commander sports the skeletal touches that the adidas crew helped design in commemoration of Halloween. Certain adidas NBA ballers like Tim Duncan have taken a particular liking to this theme, and, thus, have been wearing them with more regularity. This Halloween PE comes with a white skeletal foot design that runs throughout the entire upper and can also be seen on the bottom of the sole through the transluscent “ice” bottoms. Detailing specific to the greatest power forward ever to play in the NBA comes by way of his jersey number and signature on the heel. Enjoy more pictures after the jump.

adidas TS Cut Creator Black/White/Red

One of the latest adidas TS Cut Creator’s to create some noteworthy buzz were the one’s that resulted from an adidas collaboration with CLOT. The pair showed here gets its fame from having been designed for wear by the Chicago Bulls’ phenom Derrick Rose. This pair of TS Cut Creator’s is comprised of a black suede upper, the patented adidas stripes in white, and red accents on the inner lining and sole. The TS Cut Creator is designed for your more slash-and-dash guards, as opposed to the TS Commander LT rocked by big men like Dwight Howard. Regardless of your playing style, these TS Cut Creator’s will start hitting Foot Locker retailers come November.

adidas TS Commander LT Black/White/Blue

Fresh off of reports concerning the adidas TS Commander LT in a grey and blue colorway, we now have word that the same shoe in a black, white and blue colorway is set to release in select Foot Lockers nationwide in November. The upper comes in black perforated leather, the toe box and back heel in black suede, and the strip of blue near the sole even has stars representing Dwight Howard’s NBA team- the Orlando Magic. Moreover, on the tongue it reads “The Man Child,” which is an accurate description of this young phenom in his 20’s given his dominating presence. How many of you will seek these out as a balling pair of kix?

Adidas is set to release an Orlando Magic colorway of their relatively new sneaker, the TS Commander LT. Worn by Dwight Howard in the 2009 NBA Finals, many of us are familiar with the Grey/White/Royal colorway. On top of the grey nubuck upper and use of adiPrene technology, the model features ‘Fat Stripes’, used to give the foot extra stability. The colorway, along with other versions of the shoe, is expected to hit retailers this October.

CLOT x adidas Team Signature Cut Creator & Commander LT

adidas has been making a splash with such collabo’s as the ones with Mighty Healthy and 55DSL. And, you guessed it- they’re at it again. This time, it’s the adidas Team Signature that collaborated with CLOT, which is based out of Hong Kong. The resulting TS Cut Creator comes in a predominantly gold and black colorway with red accents. The TS Commander LT is mostly white, with slight grey and sky blue accents. Now available at CLOT’s online store, both pairs also come in a very nice collector’s edition shoe box. What are your thoughts on this collabo? One of the better adidas projects of the year?

adidas x Bodega x Chelsea FC – Kevin Garnett TS Commander LT Pack

Kevin Garnett, one of the top power forwards to ever play the game of basketball, not only has a strong passion for his sport, but is also a huge fan of soccer (football for those across the pond). KG’s favorite team is Chelsea Football Club from the English Premier League; thus, adidas and Bodega have teamed up to create this limited edition Kevin Garnett TS Commander LT Pack. The pack includes a Chelsea FC jersey with Garnett’s name and number, a Bodega x Chelsea FC scarf, and a limited edition Chelsea FC colorway of the adidas TS Commander LT. The Kevin Garnett TS Commander LT Pack will release, in limited quantities, for $275 in Bodega (Boston) on August 29.

Adidas x Kevin Garnett x Chelsea Football Club – TS Commander LT Pack

Starting next Saturday, August 29th, BODEGA out of Boston will be releasing this very limited adidas x Kevin Garnett x Chelsea Football Club TS Commander LT Pack, which consists of a CFC replica jersey with Garnett’s name plus number on the back, a CFC Bodega football team scarf, and a pair of TS Commander LT sneakers in iconic Royal Blue and White, team colors of Chelsea. Details include a laser-etched soccer ball pattern around the midsole and a yellow accented Lion’s Crest embossed on the tongue.

The collaboration came about following the US Tour by the English Premier League’s Chelsea Football Club, who played a number of friendly matches this past Summer. Garnett, who is a long standing fan of CFC decided to work with adidas on a pack themed after the Chelsea Football Club. The pack will be available exclusively at BODEGA.

On Court: 2009 NBA Finals Game 2

Game 1 of the 2009 NBA Finals was quite anticlimactic with the Los Angeles Lakers winning by 25 points; however, Game 2 proved to be a completely different story. The Orlando Magic rookie, Courtney Lee, missed an alley-oop attempt with 0.6 seconds left in regulation, sending the game into overtime. There, Kobe Bryant and company took over, and ended up winning Game 2 with a final score of 101-96. Though the game progressed at a relatively slow speed, it was nonetheless a great show of basketball talent and fancy footwear. Some of the sneakers on show in Game 2 included the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4), adidas TS Lightspeed, Nike Hyperdunk, Nike Foamposite Lite, adidas TS Commander LT, Nike Huarache ‘09, and the adidas Fly By. Exploring With mi adidas!

Several weeks ago, the kind folks over at the Three Stripes blessed me with the opportunity to explore their “mi adidas” personalization service and configure my own pair of unique kicks. Previously available only in adidas Sports Performance emporiums ‘cross the pond, the brand consecrated the Oh-Nine by bringing their I.D. initiative worldwide and arranging a one-stop digital shop at miadidas.com.

The Specs: Complimented by a 360 Degree View Finder, the mi adidas process offers prospective artists the ability to zoom in, zoom out, and rotate in all directions and angles to make sure their commission is an intricate and elaborate exclusive.

The Product: Whether you’re an ol’ school Originals head, hoops addict, or futbol fiend, Adi has you covered with a menagerie of silhouettes. As a ballplayer first, second, and last, I was excited to see many of the brand’s latest on-court gems ID ready and custom-friendly. The TS Commander BOUNCE, TS Lightning Creator, and Pro Model ‘08 are available now, while the Predator cleat, Superstar and Stan Smith are acquirable, too.

Getting Started: The first step in the design procedure involves fitting. The website maintains, “Every foot is different. Even your own two feet are not alike. So instead of making your feet fit into some average shoes, why not make the shoes fit your feet?” This feature is commended; I wear orthotics now, but my left foot is a size 13 and my right dog is an 11.5! It’s the small things that count, and this exceptional sizing feature only speaks to how much adidas really want you in your own pair. (No, they’re not paying me, I’m just excited to see some particularity and meticulousness factor into the mi adidas approach.)

Design: The mi adidas design operation is segmented into three courses. First, you color the “base” portion of the upper, trim line, and rand and choose either a leather or patent leather upper. Color options include:

-Fairway Green
-Ice Grey
-Leather
-Light Aqua
-Light Scarlet
-Marine
-Running White

Perhaps I’m being too critical here, but I’d love to see a full palette of hues; pink, orange, royal blue, burgundy, forest green are noticeably absent. Let the customers get really freaky wit’ it, adidas! Up next, you rework your model’s tongue and inner lining, tongue, and laces with the shades above. If you’re looking to coordinate a tri-colored affair, simply cast your outsole and sockliner in a new tint.

Personalize it: When your creation is immaculate, why not spice it up with your jersey number or personal memorandum? The embroidered decorations vary from place-to-place depending on the model you pick, so be sure to frolic around a bit. My inscription hearkens back to a multi-sport Nike athlete from the early ’90s…Can anyone guess who he is? My opcion preferido (The Puerto Rico issue is rubbing off on me–pay no mind if my hapless attempt at writing “favorite part” in Spanish is incorrect though!) of the mi adidas campaign is the “logo” service. Thanks to Adi’s exclusive rights partnership with the NBA, you’re able to incise your favorite professional team’s emblem onto your creation. The brand offers NCAA hallmarks, too. Choose to augment your design with any of these schools:
