Midnight Release: Air Jordan VI White/Black “Motorsports”

Many can still remember taking a look at pictures of the “Motorsports” Air Jordan VI for the first time and wishing to the shoe gods that it would see an actual release. Now it’s so close we can almost feel it! Tomorrow, Saturday February 6, 2010 the white/black “Motorsports” Air Jordan VI will be releasing in adult sizes and retailing for $175. However, they’ll only be available in limited quantities and from select Air Jordan retailers. These will most likely sell out QUICK, so do NOT sleep on them. Make sure you know which stores near you are getting them and what their sale logistics will be. Many sites and stores that will have them up for sale will customarily have them available for a midnight release…. Happy hunting!

On Court: UConn Takes Flight in Air Jordan XI & XII

There weren’t too many top 25 NCAA men’s basketball teams in action last night. Moreover, although whenever the University of Connecticut’s men’s basketball team is discussed it is usually in light of a top 25 ranking, the team dropped out of the rankings in which last week it found itself at 19. So last night the men attempted to get back on track against a Big East rival in Louisville…. with the help of the Air Jordan XI and XII. Kemba Walker laced up the Air Jordan XI “Space Jams” we recently spotted Lil’ Wayne rocking at the Grammys. Meanwhile, teammates Stanley Robinson and Jerome Dyson were seen sporting the Air Jordan XII “Flu Game” and Air Jordan XII white/black-varsity red, respectively. Although UConn fell short against Louisville, it sure was a nice treat watching these speedy collegiate athletes running back and forth in such Air Jordan heat. Nike Air Pippen I White/Black-Metallic Silver

In 2010, Nike plans to release the Nike Air Max A Lot, paying tribute to the great NBA player Scottie Pippen with a hybrid sneaker that brings together the Nike Air Pippen II and Nike Air More Uptempo. However, several sneakerheads will be more excited about the Nike Air Pippen I pictured here in a white/black-metallic silver colorway. Several will forever remember this sneaker silhouette because of the plastic zig-zagging patterns that run throughout the leather upper. As of today, these are scheduled for a retro release come May 7th, 2010. With respect to the controversial Air Jordan Force Fusion line, we know that the “Bugs Bunny” AJ VIII colorway is set to release next Saturday. However, pictures of another, previously unseen AJF VIII have hit the internet. Pictured here is the Air Jordan Force Fusion VIII in a white/black-varsity maize colorway that is reportedly releasing only in Grade School sizes. The upper is predominantly white, while a dark grey hue fills the midsole and slight yellow accents can be spotted on the tongue, strap and heel area. What do you think of the splashes of yellow on this Air Jordan model?

The Reebok Insta Pump Fury has been getting a lot of love in recent themed packs, and it hasn’t stopped. This summer, Reebok has set in motion the release of the Reebok Insta Pump Fury in a Hawaiian Pack. The Insta Pump Fury comes in four floral colorways: super green/hero green, laser blue/aquatic blue, white/black/thermal orange, and nuclear yellow/thermal orange. And yes, the crazy colorways parallel the crazy designs on each of these babies. These Pumps will go great with that Hawaiian floral shirt to beat the humid Hawaiian weather this coming summer. But, if you can’t wait til then, you can get them now online overseas for $188 each.

Air Jordan II (2) Retro Sample – White / Black – Varsity Red

2010 is definitely the year of some monumental retros for Jordan Brand. It’s been six years since this classic colorway has been retro’d the first time, but sure enough it’s back again. The Air Jordan II (2) Retro has surfaced in the classic white/black-varsity red colorway as a sample. This iconic pair of 2’s is in every way similar to its predecessors, but of course with some minor changes in materials and other subtleties. It looks like these babies will be making a release this summer, so stay tuned for further details.

Nike – Fall/Winter 2010 Sneaker Collection | Preview

At the recent Bread & Butter Barcelona, it was not surprising that Nike had some interesting pieces to showcase for the Fall/Winter 2010 season. It showcased some collaborative project with a certain Athens based sneaker store that is indicated by the A logo on the tongue label. Two colorways of Air Max 1’s in black/grey/green and black/white/yellow which are both strong pieces. Air Max BW Torch and Current Moires 2010 gets a custom treatment too in a two tone breakdown.

For the general releases expect some Air Mariahs to be retroes for 2010 in a clean white/green/black colorway. A multicolored pair of Air Max 1’s are also planned in orange/white/black and purple/white/yellow combination. Another pair of Air Max BW was also seen in a classic three tone colorway of white/black with laser blue accents. There was also a nice retro of Air Pegasus 83 for the old school heads. Air Jordan VI (6) Black/Maize-Purple “Lakers”

We keep loving them, Jordan Brand keeps producing them. On the heels of confirming a March 20, 2010 release of the white/black Air Jordan VI “Oreo,” great quality pictures of another Air Jordan VI have hit the internet. Pictured here is an Air Jordan VI that comes in an almost entirely black upper with contrast stitching in yellow and purple, which has earned this Air Jordan VI a “Lakers” nickname. Once again, team Jordan Brand adds a finishing touch that for many can make or break a shoe design- the icy, partly transluscent sole. Air Jordan VI (6) White/Black “Oreo” – Release Information

This past Saturday, “the year of the Air Jordan VI” kicked off with the long-awaited release of the black/varsity red colorway. Although the colorway is a famous part of not only Jordan Brand but sneaker culture in general, it might not be 2010’s most coveted Air Jordan VI. Several Jordanheads celebrated upon hearing of a confirmed scheduled release of the Air Jordan Motorsports collection, which includes a pair of the Air Jordan Six Rings and Air Jordan VI. Additionally, there is a white/black Air Jordan VI releasing on March 20th of this year from select Air Jordan retailers, which contains white speckles and is pictured here in a full preview. Because of the white leather and black suede combination along the sneaker’s upper, many have nicknamed this pair of Jordans the “Oreos.” Many are also very glad to see the partly transluscent sole used on this release too, as it was on the black/varsity red pair. So how do the three Air Jordan VIs mentioned here rank in your opinion?
